This Christmas display is at the home of Ted, in Bostwick, Florida. When I talked to Ted about the display he said" the display changes yearly as new items are added. This year he has over 100,000 lights in the display. The displays are centered around a small pond with the whole yard and house decorated. This is the 10th year running for the display. Ted also said that he had trouble getting the local paper to publish much info about the display but he kept doing it each year "...because people just don't decorate anymore." he said. Ted started setting up this year in Sept to be ready to open on Thanksgiving. Ted also stated that "...Christmas was his favorite season of the year." When I explained what we were doing with Waymarking his display he was quite excited to have others come out and view his display as well as his neighbors which is growing yearly. Ted accepts donations in a drop box outside the fence so no one feels pressured to contribute.
Directions from US hwy 17 taken West River Road approx 8 miles to West Harbor turn left there and go approx 1/2 mile to Tilliets Lane and turn Right follows the lights to the end of the cul-de-sac.
