We had spent the day waymarking and were desparate for a place to eat. So we stopped into the first non-chain place we came too. Turned out this place is awesome. The food was so good we barely came up for air while eating. The caboose is cut in half and attached to the building so you can actually sit in the caboose to eat. I'd say there were about 10-15 very tiny tables in the entire place.
We were very pleased by the food and the prices were reasonable. Leona Farkle had a build your own burger, with green olives, cheddar cheese, honey mustard sauce and sauteed mushrooms. Being such a picky eater she was very pleased to find out it was good and she could eat the entire thing without coming across any gristle or bone. Harvey Farkle had the Reuben which was very good and lean.
Harvey Jr, had the french fries which were fresh cut and very good as well.
The entire place is restaurant themed. It is a bar as well, but has more of a pub like atmosphere. This was definitely not a young crowd bent on getting wasted. People were there for dinners, a few beers and to catch the game.
