The Cape May Zoo is located one mile north of Cape May Court House, on Rte 9 and Crest Haven Road, the 128 acre Cape May County Park & Zoo is open year round seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Considered one of the best full-system parks in New Jersey, the Cape May County Park & Zoo offers plenty of recreational facilities such as playground areas, tennis and volleyball courts, baseball fields, nature, walking, jogging, and bike trails and fresh water fishing.
The Zoo has over 100 species of wildlife housed in the beautiful setting. The Zoo has a variety of animals such as playful otters, tigers, bobcats, reindeer, zebra, goats, lions, bears, zebra, buffalo,and giraffe. The Zoo also has some old friends, Brutus and Tinkerbell the Cougars, Matilda and Dundee the Wallabies, Jerome the Giraffe, Charlie the Camel, Fernando the Llama, and the rest of our friends in the Reptile House, Monkey House and Aviary. These animals all live together amid the peaceful surroundings of Cape May County Park and Zoo.
