This is a nice, rectangular shaped park and the memorial circle also contains memorials to WW II, Korea and Vietnam. There is an attractive Town Clock to the rear, just off West Atlantic Avenue. There are four, black, miniature canons which decorate the memorial circle (see pictures).
The entire area is supposedly going to have a major overhaul as this place had been in ruin due to local drug activity. If you go at night (don't) be CAREFUL!! It is not safe.
