Rinconada Canyon is a 1 1/2 mile long canyon containing 100's of petroglyphs carved into the rocks by Pueblo Indians and Early Spanish Settlers.

Rinconada canyon contains over 3500 petroglyphs. Most were carved by the Ancestors of the Pueblo people. Other petroglyphs were carved by native people travelling through the area, some by Spanish Colonial shepherds, and others by 18th and 19th century settlers in the region.
These coords are my favorite of the Petroglyphs.
