McCabe's is not a place to be after dark, however its sign still has charm during the daylight. The cafe doesn't cater to country music fans as one might think, but is more of a nightclub of sorts.

McCabe's is not a place to be after dark, however its sign still has charm during the daylight. Over the past year there have been nearly 180 police calls to McCabe's for issues such as fights, assaults, rapes and robberies. On October 25th, 2007 a gunman opened fire in a crowd at closing time outside the front door injuring 3 people critically and the police have requested an emergency suspension of the cafe's license.
So enjoy the sign while you can. At this rate who knows how much longer the place will be open.
