Long Description:
This obelisk is 64feet tall and was hand laid of limestone rock and brick in 1933 by the federal Works Progress Administration. The obelisk is at the head of the Court of States located near the entrance to the gardens and the State Park. The obelisk is dedicated to Franklin D. Roosevelt. The President of the United States.
