A memorial to World War I veterans from Tonawanda and North Tonawanda, NY stands in the middle of the Renaissance Bridge connecting the two cities.

Along the western sidewalk of the Renaissance Bridge is a large granite memorial dedicated to World War I veterans from the twin cities of Tonawanda and North Tonawnada. On one side of the triangular shaped memorial is a bronze tablet for the Tonawanda veterans, containing 26 names. A second side contains the names of 37 North Tonawanda veterans.
There is no indication at all of when this memorial was dedicated, or who built it. Parking is available nearby in Gateway Park on the North Tonawanda side and along the street on the Tonawanda side.
