"The sidewheeler, Corona, that carried tourists from the mainland to the Edwater Park, burned at the pier at Edgewater on November 18th, 1898 and can still be partially seen in the river today....."

The smokestack still juts out of the water! If you zoom in on the satellite image, you may be able to see a faint outline of the sunker ship. The Edgewater and it's Park are also long gone from the area.
