The Nativity of Mary Church and its impressive steeple were constructed starting in 1900 and completed in 1902. It was designed by architects Frank Kemp and Fred Roesling, Sr.
The steeple soars over 200 feet into the air. It can be seen from anywhere in downtown Janesville and draws the eye to itself.
