The city's historic heartbeat, the Town Green, is a huge lawn bordering Highway 90 and facing the Mississippi Gulf Sound where festivals, weddings, summer movies and spring and summer programs are held. The Town Green has flourished since the 1700's. It is still used today.
The Biloxi arches in the foreground was recovered after Katrina, but the Brielmaier House, built in 1895, which served as Biloxi's Tourist Center was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
The Town Green is located on the corner of Beach Blvd and Main St, across the street from the Hard Rock Casino.
