Open Saturday and Sunday 1-4 p.m. this museum provides a glimpse into the old south. The Kingston History Museum portrays life in Kingston following the war. Both museums are maintained by the ladies of the Kington Woman's History Club, which began the first "Decoration Day," or the genesis of Confederate Memorial Day. The annual observance is held each April.
