Hawksbill Mountian is the highest peak in Shenandoah National Park with an elevation of 4050 feet. There are several trails leading to this summit including a fire road. We chose the most direct trail which is the Upper Hawksbill Trail. We parked at the parking area at mile 45.6 and hiked 1.7 miles uphill to the summit and a great view!
