Long Description:
Caledonia Furnace is located in Greene Township, Franklin County. It is located near the village of Caledonia, and Caledonia State Park. The furnace was owned by Thaddeus Stevens, and erected by Thaddeus Stevens and James D. Paxton in 1837. The furnace went out-of blast in 1874.

Other names Caledonia Furnace was known by: Caledonia Works; Caledonia Forge; and Steven's Furnace.
