From Helena,head east on Hwy.12 until you reach the stop light in East Helena that is at the intersection of South 1st Street and Hwy.12.Turn right(south)and go approximately 300 feet to the intersection of South 1st Street and Manlove Avenue.The benchmark is on the southwest corner of this intersection,about 5 feet or so east of a stop sign,on the top of a 2-3 foot tall concrete post.The only thing stamped on this benchmark is "State Highway Comm Benchmark".
