This bench mark is located at the summit of the Picture Rock Pass on Ore. Hwy. 31 about 6 miles north of Summer Lake. The bench mark is set in concrete on rock outcrop about 100 feet south of highway centerline. The bench mark was set by the Oregon State Highway Department in 1931 and was marked E73. There is great set of Indian Petroglyphs on the back side of the boulder that this benchmark is in front of.
