The Parker's Crossroads Battlefield Tourist Information Center is located on the battlefield and owned by the City of Parker's Crossroads. In December 1862, Union forces attempted to stop Confederate Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest. While the battle was a draw, forces under Forrest slipped away and returned to Middle Tennessee.
The center has information about the battle and a store containing books about the Civil War is also located in the center. Inside, is a minature model of the battle.
