To the men and women of Ponca City who served their country during the World War.
This memorial made possible through the efforts of the Ponca City Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Ponca City Chapter, DAR, funded the restoration of the plaque with the 293 names of those from Ponca City who served in WWI. The plaque also designates overseas nurses and those who died in service. Rededication ceremony held on July 22, 2022.
Included in Downtown Ponca City Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Place in 2011.
