The Dunlap Community Building was built in 1939 and finished early 1940. The community building has been a beacon in the Dunlap community since it was built. Just recently (1992) named the Frank S. Barker Comunity Building, it is now home to the Sequatchie County Public Library. The Community Building was added to the register in 1994.
