In Clarksburg, there is an abandoned church called Palestine where a cemetery surrounds it. At this time, the church is not locked and visitors can still get inside. Some have claimed that at night, a person can be seen sitting at a piano, playing a variety of low notes. In the corner, there have been sightings of someone wearing a black cloak that is covering their face. When you are in the church, you will have the feeling that someone is watching you the entire time you are inside.

I have visited the area many times, due to living only 30 minutes away. Everytime I go near the church I get chills. When you drive into the driveway you are greeted by a large churchyard cemetery, which dates back to the early 1800's. You walk up to the church that has no windows in front of the building. As you walk in the door you see the old piano that looks like someone played it a hundred years ago. As you walk across the wooden slat floor, you can see straight down to the dirt floor under the building. Everytime I have walked in the door, it has felt like someone has been right behind me watching every move I make. I looked back and there was no one.

Overall, the church gives anyone walking in the door an extremely eerie feeling.

Be warned that this is an abandoned church and has little to no upkeep.
