DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1972 (JCL) THE STATION IS THE BALL AT THE TOP AND CENTER OF THE GOLD COLORED DOME ATOP A SMALL WHITE BELFRY ON A RED BRICK BUILDING. THE DOME HAS A CLOCK ON THE NORTH, SOUTH, EAST AND WEST SIDES AND IS 115 FEET HIGH. THE BUILDING IS THE BARTOW COUNTY COURTHOUSE. THE COURTHOUSE IS LOCATED NEAR THE CENTER OF CARTERSVILLE, 180 FEET WEST OF N. ERWINS STREET AND 135 FEET NORTH OF CHEROKEE AVENUE.
