This cross marks the ancient route of the Abbots Way.

Characteristics of this cross:
This is a massive cross for Dartmoor standing over 7 feet high, the shaft if about a foot wide, the arms are uneven in shape, the cross has an unfinished look about it. There is a small incised cross between the arms on one side.


Describe the location:
This cross is situated in the centre of Tavistock Golf Course on Whichurch Down.
