Riverside Cemetery was added to the NRHP list in 1993 for its architecture and landscape engineering accomplishments. I visited this cemetery today with my family and we all have to admit, this cemetery is the most beautiful cemetery we have visited to date. The layout takes you through winding driveways, through glades, over bridges, and it seems to go on and on for miles. There is every kind of gravestone, monument, and mosoleum you can imagine here, as you wander through its many secluded sections. It is so well maintained that there wasn't a blade of grass out of place. A wonderful cemetery to visit of you enjoy secluded cemeteries.
