The top of Granite Mountain has spectacular views of the Payette National Forest and the Seven Devils Wilderness Area. Although a bit of a hike in, the views will more than compensate the effort it takes to get here.

The Lookout is staffed during the summer months, and is pretty much inaccessible after the snow flies. Plan on taking the better part of the day for the round trip, 2,000 vertical elevation gain to get there, and make sure to carry plenty of water.
