Ironically, the year we spotted this Smokey has been one of the worst fire danger years in Idaho history. Around McCall alone, nearly 100,000 acres of forest land were ablaze.

The coordinates at the top of the page will take you to the front door of the Ranger Station. You can find Smokey by going through the front door and looking to your right. The staff inside the Station are very helpful whether you need to find a trailhead, conditions or maybe just a secret fishing hole.
