This checkerboard patterned Water Tower is located between General Motors Electromotive Division, (2021 Oxford Street East), and General Dynamics Land Systems, (1991 Oxford Street East). This tower is easily viewed from Oxford Street, it is about 50 yards in from the road, on private property. The posted co-ordinates, (and photo), were taken North of the tower, on the opposite side of the road. One of these plants manufactures Locomotives, and ships them worldwide. The other plant manufactures mainly Light Armoured Vehicles for a variety of countries worldwide. I think the reason for this paint scheme is possibly the presence of the nearby airport.
