This bridge was built by John Roebling before he constructed that bridge in Brooklyn. Some say this was the prototype for it. It is still in daily use today.
I am also including a picture of a nearby mural, which shows the bridge while under construction. The Civil War interupted work on the bridge. I put the wrong batteries in my camera and ended up taking a picture of the bridge in the future.
