The Marietta Fire Museum has many items on display used by the Marietta Fire Department dating back to the 1800s. The museum has fire service clothing, equipment and antique apparatus. Some items in the museum are on loan from private collectors. Items that can be found in the museum include:
* Photo "Wall of Flame" - photos dating back to the late 1800s.
* Antique fire helmets and helmets from around the world
* Antique firefighting equipment, hoses, nozzles, bells, etc.
* Antique firefighting apparatus (see below)
* Interesting firefighting displays
The fire apparatus on display include the following:
* 1879 Silsby Steamer
* 1921 American LaFrance pumper
* 1929 Seagrave pumper
* 1949 Pirsch ladder truck
* 1952 Chevrolet panel truck
Theme: Cultural as it applies to the evolution of fire fighting methods and equipment.
