This is one of the new Smokeys that is made on a plastic paper and stretched onto a plywood frame. I may have to add this part of the description to the waymarks posting requirements, since some are hand painted and very old and some are of this new variety.
BTW, I found this and three others I will be posting today (August 9) and while stopping for one I heard on the radio it was Smokey's birthday. So, happy birthday, Smokey Bear!
