The Machine Shed serves is a very fun place to visit for families. They offer hay rides while you wait for your table and outside the restaurant are all kinds of antique farm equipment. In the lobby is a gift shop featuring Midwest made gifts.
The food here is delicious, but if you're a vegetarian, you're out of luck - lots of big juicy steaks and barbecue here. The meals are served homestlye - which means side dishes are served in one large bowl and passed around the table. Along with your main dish you'll be served delicious applesauce and bread. Watch out for their desserts because they are HUGE. Especially the chocolate cake.
We were taken here by fellow waymarkers and just had a blast.
