Artesian Well Park, a small park, where every day people stop to fill their water jugs with water flowing from an artesian well. Many people travel miles to get this drinking water.
The water contains numerous minerals with a total dissolved solids of about 700 to 1,000 parts per million. Those who fill their gallon bottles or larger containers swear on the benefits of drinking this water.

This well dates back to pioneer times. It was a stock watering hole used by oxen while transporting granite slabs from Little Cottonwood Canyon, to the building site of the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Many made a stop at this artesian well for a drink of cool water and rest..
