Often mistaken for Pignut Hickory, this Red Hickory grows on the side of steep sloped ravine forest in Glencarlyn Park. No trails or utilities near this specimen But is easily obsereved across the stream valley from a stream side trail (yet the trail in the park is moderately difficult to traverse). The tree is marked.
