Christ Episcopal Church
Since 1844, erected in 1830
by Presbyterians, it is the
oldest church building in
Orleans County still being
used for worship services.
Although it was built in 1830 by the Presbyterians, in 1844 the Episcopals swapped their vacant lot and building materials with the Presbyterians for their building! Built of brick, it contains an outstanding Steer and Turner tracker action pipe organ built in 1877.
