An older 'modern' building is the home of Station No. 7. You could drive by it and not recognize its simple unassuming structure.
The station serves the communities of Cambrian Heights, Crescent Heights, Greenview, Highland Park, Highwood, Mount Pleasant, Rosedale and Tuxedo Park.
Station #7 houses a pumper truck and four firefighters. The station is 5,512 square feet in size.
The station also inspects about 1100 businesses in the district annually. In conjunction with the Calgary Home Builders Association, they participates in the annual residential smoke detector program.
