This ferry crossing is a free ferry crossing taking about 20 minutes.
Dangerous cargo sailings are Tuesday and Thursday from Shelter Bay at 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and from Galena Bay at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
In addition to the above D.E.V. Galena, the seasonal vessel M.V. Shelter Bay provides daily extra service on the route between 10:00 a.m. and approximately 7:00 p.m. This additional service is also offered on Friday, May 18th and Monday, May 21st, (May long weekend), and Friday October 5th and Monday October 8th. (Thanksgiving long weekend.)
This service is contracted to Western Pacific Marine.
