Knoebels Amusement Park dates back to 1926 when a pool and steam-powered carousel were opened at the site along with a few games and a restaurant.
Over the years Knoebels has continued to add attractions including:
- Grand Carousel in 1942
- Haunted Mansion in 1973
- Phoenix Roller Coaster in 1985
- Giant Flume in 1990
- Twister in 1999
- Flying Turns due to open in 2008
A campground was also added in 1963, and the park sports just about any other attraction you would want - including 2 miniature trains, a ferris wheel, and a 14-minute Sky Ride to the mountain top & back.
A great family place..and a good value!
