This zinc headstone is for members of two related families, the Townsley family and the Platt family.

On the side of the monument with the large Townsley raised letters the inscription plate reads:

Calvin Townsley, Died Aug. 15, 1859 in the 61st year of his age.
Maria Townsley Born Jan. 20, 1798 - Died Mar. 19, 1875


On the side of the monument with the large Platt raised letters the inscription plate reads:

Stella M. Platt, Daughter of Calvin Townsley and beloved wife of O.H. Platt, Born March 1, 1820, Died April 9, 1879 - Forever with the Lord.

On the side of the monument with the large 1879 (appears to refer to the year of Stella's death) raised letters the inscription plate reads:

Henry Townsley, Born July 20, 1822, Died November 10, 1863.

On the on marked side the inscription plate reads:

In memoriam Charles W. Townsley Born Sept. 10, 1818, died in Denver, Col Aug. 22, 1877.

There are also small zinc markers for Henry Townsley, Calvin Townsley and Maria Townsley
