Taum Sauk Mountain State Park is a 7,448 acre park in the rugged and scenic St. Francois Mountains including Taum Sauk Mountain, at 1772 feet the tallest point in Missouri. The park has a basic campground and hiking trails. Also within the boundaries of the park are the Sina Sauk Falls, at 132 feet of total drop over a number of ledges, is the tallest waterfalls; the hike to the waterfalls is over a semi-rugged trail about 3 miles round trip.
