Long Description:
The Dearborn Heights Police Memorial was dedicated on May 23, 2007. The memorial was erected to honor the men and women of the Dearborn Heights Police Department that gave their lives in the line of duty. At the time of dedication, the department has lost two officers, Robert Dowidait and Jason Makowski. A "Circle of Life" surrounds the memorial, which includes plaques dedicated to the fallen officers. In the center stands a granite "Never Forgotten Badge".

The memorial is available for viewing 24 hours day, 7 days a week.

There is no entrance fee and free parking is available on site.
