This neon sign has graced Warren’s for twenty-five years (old by Houston standards). The bar – and the sign – was a fixture downtown before downtown became trendy.

Located in the 1862 Fox-Kohlman Building, Warren’s is an old-school bar, with cheap food and drinks and not much else. It’s rumored, but unverifiable, that the bar’s original owner, Warren, was a boyfriend of Liberace. Market Square/Main Street Historic District
