Depending on exactly how this tree was measured determined it to be the regional champ instead of the Texas state champ. If you follow the pith line of each trunk you will see that they intersect below ground. Therefore each trunk is counted as a seperate tree and the "official" measurements are only for the largest single trunk. Girth measurement shown is for the "actual" girth, recorded below the trunk forks and above the ground. Private property so take picture from the street right-of-way.
