Tile Mural - Lake Tahoe - Murals on Waymarking.com

The mural stands in a south Lake Tahoe park, on the shore of the lake, just of Rt. 50. It's about five feet high and is composed of several hundred individual tiles. Most of these are the creative expressions of local residents. The center panel of the landward side shows the view of Lake Tahoe one sees looking across the mural wall, but it also includes an underwater view including fish. This is flanked on both ends by individual tiles. The lakeward side is composed entirely of individual tiles. This is a splendid example of community art.
