The Nichelini Winery is the oldest family owned and continuously operated winery in the Napa Valley. 1n 1884, Anton Nichelini, a Swiss-Italian immigrant homesteaded the land. Since then, the winery has remained in the family and is now owned and operated by four of his grandchildren.

Nichelini's original Roman press and handhewn stone cellar are distinctive features of the vistor area. The press is believed to be the only one still standing in a California winery.

The winery claims one of the only Sauvigon Vert in California; a unique Bordeaux white from their 1946 plantings.
