Adelphic Lodge, Jamestown, PA - Masonic Temples on Waymarking.com

My father was a 33rd degree Master Mason with this lodge for over ten years. The building is newer, the old lodge used to be in town and was established in the 19th century. Membership has declined there over the years as lifestyles have changed dramatically and people are less willing to dedicate personal time to participate in and memorize the ceremonies. It is also the meeting place for the local Eastern Star organization for ladies. Besides housing Masonic meetings, the lodge hall is used for community meals and events.
