Its fire is white and red with 2 glares 6s. Its luminous range is of 19 miles (approximately 35 kilometers). Anchored on a advanced rock at sea on an army ground, it shows the way to be followed to enter the roads of Brest. With proximity draws up the old tower radar of the semaphore of the National Navy.
Automated in 1989, it is telecontrolled from Brest. It is not kept and does not visit itself.
