These 6 beautiful cast bronze doors show imagery of early industry and the beauty of Washington State and are the main entrance doors to the Washington State Legislative Building (Capitol.) During the 2001 Nisqually earthquake settling caused issues with the functioning of the doors. Repairs and alterations have since been made.
Washington State's Legislative Building, completed in 1928 after six years of construction, serves as both a working governmental center and a symbol of Washington's democratic government.
