The Riverview Cemetery Civil War memorial was erected by the Major James Wilson Post No. 20 G.A.R., Department of Missouri in 1884.  The  memorial is dedicated "To all the brave defenders of the Union in 1861-1865, from the County of Pike, Mo."  The monument is constructed of "White Bronze" - zinc, has a Union soldier standing watch and is located on the main entry to the cemetery.
