"Goldie Mae Hampton, age 100, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020. She was born in Troy, Missouri on September 17, 1919 to Grover and Florence Pierce (nee Creech).
"Goldie was married to John Wesley Hampton for 75 years. She was very involved in many crafts and activities such as: sewing, needle-point, sand art, ceramics, bowling and square dancing. Goldie always loved to garden both flowers and vegetables. She enjoyed traveling with her husband in their RV all over the country. Goldie was always very involved in the church, that she attended.
"Goldie is survived by her daughters, Goldie Elaine Taylor and Pamela Kay Craine; her grandchildren, Janet (Randy) Maxey, Brian (Bo) Taylor, Kelly Renee (John) Batts, and Jason Wesley (Jessica) Craine; her great-grandchildren, Scott Maxey, Steven Maxey, Tommy Maxey, Jake Taylor, Abby Taylor, Nick Taylor, John Batts, Beckett Craine, Brendall Craine, Kennedi Craine, and Kelton Craine. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
