About the location
Koggewerf Kampen
Between 1994 and 1998, a reconstructed excavated cog was built on a headland on the IJssel river: the Kamper Kogge.
Now it is a place where we maintain the ship and welcome guests. In addition to the Kamper Kogge Foundation, other nautical associations are also located here.
The Koggewerf is freely accessible. You can request a guided tour or a boat trip at reservering@kamperkogge.nl

Tavern
At the Koggewerf, we achieve a lot through self-reliance and the reuse of materials.
When a Kamper skating club built a new clubhouse, our volunteers dismantled the old wooden building and rebuilt it at the Koggewerf. We built a new roof, laid a new floor and built toilets. The Tavern also got an outdoor terrace and now serves as a canteen for the volunteers. But visitors to the yard can also enjoy a cup of coffee here when we are open.
