BOONSBORO CHRISTIAN CHURCH
The first church was built by W. M. Burton in 1850. About the year 1868 that building wa torn down and the present church was built. In 1956 the education building was erected.

History of Mark:
Boonsboro Christian Church in Boonesboro, Missouri, has a rich history, with the church and cemetery being over 150 years old. It is located on the old Santa Fe Trail. The church and cemetery are significant landmarks in the area. Five generations of one family have worshipped there. A Facebook user shared memories of attending Bible School there as a child and noted that the church was built in the early 1900s. The church has also seen many people pass away during the time their current minister has served, which has been almost a quarter century.
